- When she was in her sophomore year in the high school, she was the class president and the member of the senior class executive board. She was also a member of the National Honor Society.
- While studying in the high school, she also used to serve as an aerobics instructor.
- Sheryl was hired by Larry Summers as his research assistant at the World Bank, where he worked as the Vice President of Development Economics and Chief Economist.
- She worked for a year with World Bank on health projects in India. The projects were focused on blindness, AIDS, and leprosy.
- After graduating from Harvard Business School, she was employed in the position of management consultant for McKinsey & Company. She worked in that position for a year.
- In 1996, Sheryl was again hired by Larry Summers, who had been appointed as the United States Secretary of the Treasury by US President Bill Clinton. She worked in her position until November 2000 as she left her job after Republicans tightened their grip on US Presidency.
