He was raised by his mother in Cranston, Rhode Island, United States, while she worked as the artistic director of Brown University’s repertory theatre department.
During the time he attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee, United States, he was also the entertainment writer for the school newspaper named The Daily Beacon.
Both he and his twin brother have been told that they look nearly identical to Tom Hardy. Logan stated that he was honored by the comparison.
Growing up, he wanted to be a baseball announcer or a Mello Yello truck driver.
